Can you make our door easier to open for accessibility?
Yes. Opening force can be adjusted, delayed action can be added, and if the door genuinely cannot meet requirements mechanically there are power operators. Getting the mechanical adjustment right comes first.
Why is our door so heavy to open now?
Somebody has probably turned the closer up to force a door that was not latching. That is treating a symptom, and it makes the door difficult for customers and staff. Fix the latching problem and the closer can come back to a reasonable setting.
My door does not close all the way. What is going on?
Either the closing force is too low, or the door is dragging on the frame in the last few inches. In Brilliant we see the second one often, because a frame that has moved makes a good closer look weak.
Our fire door is propped open. Is that a problem?

No. Closers are sealed units, and once the seal fails the closer is finished. Refilling is not possible on standard units and the unit needs replacing.
